So last night I went for my first long drive that wasn't just a loop to get through the break-in period, and I let the car do about two hours of the driving. Having now done a long drive I understand why Kia limit the feature in the US (KDM reportedly get the full autonomy features); our freeway designs confuse the UI because the lines are inconsistent, off ramps are not set up for autonomous driving so the car sometimes gets confused at the wide unmarked off-ramps, and no way am I going to trust it on a ramp or driving through tolls.
I LOVE THE STOCK AUDIO SYSTEM IN MY KIA STINGER!
I used to publish Linux howtos that have long since gone to the big bit bucket in the sky - I had taken my site down because I didn't have time to keep up with it with all the time I have been putting into work. I didn't really know what I wanted to do when I put my site back up - I initially wanted to chronicle the restoration of my ZR1 Corvette, but when I tallied up the parts and labor for reparing of the windshield frame to fix the damage a tropical storm did to it, it would have cost twice book value to restore it.
